I do already have MacLoggerDX setup and it interfaces with and controls the radio very nicely. There was no issue in getting this to go out of the box.

I suggest you look in the App Store for an APP called TeamViewer for the iPad. Fldigi and the MacAir;... So in practice, you will continue connecting your audio like before, and instead of connecting your Mac to the KX3 serial port, you will connect to the KXPA100 serial port.
